There are many factors involved in our decision on whether to take on a new project or not. Sometimes we make exceptions if the company or individual that approaches us has a really interesting idea or dynamic people with which to work with.
With a high profile in the local community, JBR Graphics faces overwhelming interest from companies looking to hire our services, and the capacity of a two person team with which to tackle it. Choosing projects selectively is, regrettably, necessary. There are only so many jobs we can personally handle at a time.
As your time is very valuable, so is ours and we're not interested in wasting it. In general though, the points listed at right illustrate the type of client we are not particularly interested in working with.

If you are a company or individual that:
• Already has a set of graphic templates or designs created with another graphic designer and you are looking to have them converted to HTML/CSS for the web. (Part of our process is designing the site from the ground up. Creating the graphical layout of your website is what we enjoy doing the best. Occasionally we do make some exceptions to this rule.)
• Wants their project completed ASAP or on a VERY tight schedule. (This is our Achilles' heel.)
• Does not have a clear plan for their business or does not know what they want in their website project. (We do not assist in creating business plans.)
• Your projects will be based on continuous approvals and decisions by a committee or board. (We desire to work with one point person during the project that is in charge of the layout and project approval.)
• A project that requires extensive skills outside of our competency. (There aren't many things we can't do, but if your project requires something we can't do, we'll let you know up front.) |
